These are for my little niece's Birthday. She turns 2 and the theme of the day, Minions!
Baking for Fun
The spark of interest in baking came from the Double Chocolate Brownie I baked out of curiosity. Since then, it was for two charity funfairs, one-month baby celebrations, birthdays to just-feel-like-it situations. I am still learning the ropes in baking. That is why some disaster outcome is shown here too. Thanks to my family & friends and my colleagues, who have been the best Test Subject, I managed to get some inspiration.

Cookie Pops
Simple and easy to make. These were originally intended for chocolate fondue. Since I've baked too many of the cookie pops, I might as well take some and layered them with fondant. :-)

New York-Style Choc Chip Cookies
My friend bought me a box of premix from Sydney.
The instruction on the box are easy to follow. You only need 125gm butter. 1 tbsp water and 1 egg.
The outcome, as below:
I tried to ensure that each dollop of mixture include 1 chocolate button that came in the box. Else, some cookie will be without a chocolate button. :-)
Taste: Sweet and chewy. Thumbs up!

Transfer to cooling rack and let the cookies cool completely before transferring them to an air-tight container.

Panda Cookies
Nope. These are not the Beijing Olympics 2008 pandas, even though the color combo is similar. These pandas are from Japan.... really!
