These cookies texture are on the soft side as they are thick. The colors are nice.. as I'm doing this for Chinese New Year Cookies giveaway! :-)
The spark of interest in baking came from the Double Chocolate Brownie I baked out of curiosity. Since then, it was for two charity funfairs, one-month baby celebrations, birthdays to just-feel-like-it situations. I am still learning the ropes in baking. That is why some disaster outcome is shown here too. Thanks to my family & friends and my colleagues, who have been the best Test Subject, I managed to get some inspiration.

2012 CNY Cookies
Attended a class today. Its conducted by Pauline Chan from Cookie Decorating in Singapore. She is truly generous with her tips on how to bake and decorate the perfect cookie. I've learnt a lot from Pauline. :-)

Lemon Cake with Berries
This is the last cake I baked for 2011!!! It was baked on Dec 31, 2011. I bought some pans from Wilton and was hoping to find the right recipe to use them. The pans came in 4 mini cake sized with a hollow at the center. View from top:
Inverted, they look like these:
I've squeeze some whipped cream on it and managed to squeeze in Strawberries, Blueberries and Raspberries... drizzled with Passion Fruit syrup!
