New York-Style Choc Chip Cookies

My friend bought me a box of premix from Sydney.

The instruction on the box are easy to follow.  You only need 125gm butter. 1 tbsp water and 1 egg.
The outcome, as below:

I tried to ensure that each dollop of mixture include 1 chocolate button that came in the box. Else, some cookie will be without a chocolate button.  :-)

Taste: Sweet and chewy. Thumbs up!

Step 2:  Add 2 large eggs and 2 tsp vanilla essence into the mixture.

Step 3:  In a separate large bowl, mix the below items together
2 1/4 cup plain flour

3/4 tsp salt

Step 4:  Add the flour mixture into the butter mixture.  Ensure they are well mixed.

Step 5:  Using a spatula, blend in these items into the mixture.

Step 7:  Using a scoop or a spoon, portion the mounds onto a prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake them for 13 to 15 mins, until cookies are golden brown at the edges and still bit pale in the center.  Transfer to cooling rack and let the cookies cool completely before transferring them to an air-tight container.

Enjoy!
